Not receiving Private Messages In inbox but getting email??

Hi,

I am receiving emails alerting me that I have a new private message but when I log into my BF account I have no PM's??

Any ideas? I did check the general settings and my private messaging is on....

Yeah, just did. I initially did not know what that meant but instead of bothering someone I searched for how to check visitor messages. There are none. Still confused
