Today I took my gf and 3 kids to the woods for a nice stroll.
Some rain, but more sun. We ate a lot of wild berries we found and my almost 2 year old did a great job finding the black ones (instead of the red/not ripe ones) for himself.
So, I peeled two apples with my 3.5" xm-18. It did very well. I found the edge did not dull at all and I couldn't find any chips
I also cut off some twigs for them to play with and stripped the leaves off.
that was about all the action I could give the 3.5" today
my 3" saw some more action today (besides sharpening it to hair whittling level), but I'll leave that for the 'what did you do with your xm-18 today' thread.
I did the mandatory "I'm in the woods so I make a fire" thing which the kids loved and made some shots of the knife and my family for some good memories.
I'm sharing the knife part with you guys, enjoy
you can't really tell, but this was a big 4$$ tree
and of course, I did this to my 3" xm-18 afterwards
