I gotta get me one of them Engine oil bypass kits.....

Back when I was starting out in the automotive aftermarket I was a bit alarmed at some mechanic's ability. We sold Wagner brake parts & it was a great product. To speed up my spiel, sometimes I'd loosely flip through the catalog pages & watch the customer's expression & if there was a flicker of interest,I'd stop & pitch him.
Bonded brake shoes were new & they had an annoying amount of squeal as they wore because the surface would glaze over but still work properly. This one guy asked for the brake lube & a can would last for a long, long time. When asked if he wanted a pint can he said "hell no ",one of those cans can't do many brake shoes.I want a case !
I had to use a ton of tact to explain the lube was used on the linkage, not on the surface of the shoe .This happened in front of one of his customers .

Uncle Alan

PS Please send me a case of split washers. [ No,not for that kind of split, douchebag ] ;)
