Not sure what Spyderco to buy

Currently, my EDC is the sprint run Dyad Jr. with the blue handles. Man, it's a great little knife.

The Manix 2, Para 2, and Military are my favorite spyderco's, I have at least 2 variations of each, 4 for the manix 2.

Thanks for the info! Gonna do some research on yalls recommendations. Funny thing, everytime I buy a new knife it sits in the safe so I don't mess it up,, haha

I own and carry the Manix 2. If you buy it, you'll want to carry it. Best EDC blade I've owned to date.

Is the tenacious a good
Knife? What does edc stand for?

The Tenacious is a good knife for those on a tight budget.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of 8cr13mov steel and much prefer VG10. The Delica/Endura full flat grind models are affordable and provide great features: light weight, great steel, thin profile and good slicing abilities. For someone new to Spyderco, you can't go wrong with a Delica or Endura.

If you're willing to throw around some more money, I'd recommend a Caly 3.5 or a Paramilitary. The Caly 3.5 has VG10 steel but offers better fit and finish as well as a deep-carry wire clip. The Paramilitary is a bit bulkier in pocket than the other models I have mentioned but it's a very solid knife. The compression lock is very strong and CPM-S30V is a good steel for harder chores (it holds a working edge longer than VG10).

You really just need to sit down and think about what you really want from your knife and how you are going to use it. If you want something that is easy to carry and can handle light to medium cutting chores, then a Delica/Endura or Caly 3.5 are good options. If you don't mind carrying a larger, bulkier knife and need something to handle tough cutting tasks, then a Paramilitary 2 or a Manix 2 are good options.

For the money, the Tenacious is a great little blade. If I were you, I would do this......

Buy one of the Value Line Knives, and a more expensive one. My personal favorite is the Para2. You can find it for around one hundred dollars. The Manix2 is also a great knife. It has a nice heft to it. You will need to get use to its style of lock, though.

I have a Delica 4 lightweight and it is perfect for EDC. It is super light in the pocket. I sometimes forget I'm carrying it. Super sharp.

Can't go wrong with a Delica or Endura as your first spyderco.
