Here's one i just finished. This is from a blank I made a while back ago. I've been trying to go back and rework old blades that I've tossed in a drawer, until I was better at it, in hopes to save some of my many learning mistakes. The grind is way to hi for an 8 inch wheel, but with alot of patience I thing I finally got it looking better. My lines on the transition between the flats and hollows are still not what I want, but at least its the same on both sides..lol. I used a cork belt with green rouge on it < which is a trick I learned on here just the other day> Really helped to smooth out the grind marks on the big hollow. The handles are stabilized maple burl with mosaic pins and lanyard. Anyway let me know what ya think of it, this is the first ones that i've done in rams horn.
