I hope you like this traditional Spanish folding knife. It´s handmade of forged carbon steel, with mediterranean oak wood handle and spring lockback with a lever release. Sheath is handmade too (by me, so it isn´t as neat as the knife;) ).´

Blade is almost 4 " long and a hair over 1 " wide, and flat ground. LOA is 9" and lock is rock solid, zero play. A real working - and uncommon - knife.

I like it a lot!

Did you do anything to the wood? If not (which i think, it looks pretty natural on the picture) i'd oil it with mineral oil. Looks nicer and protects the wood.

(I tried to find this Terricabres on the net, but failed)

Hola Sevilla :) nos conocemos del foro de armas blancas???

Really nice navaja! Not the typical one from albacete, but one that's used by the farmers and shepards still today.

Can you tell me something about the blade thickness? I've seen on lot's of spanish knifes, that the bladethickness is rather thin (Don Benitos for example).

kind regards
surfer

I think so, if you are a spanish surfer.;)
I like carbon steel, so you can guess who I am.
About the blade thickness, it´s rather thin to pry with it, about 2,5 mm more or less, but it isn´t made for anything but cutting and slicing. And it is thick enough for it, you can be sure.
Greetings from Sevilla.
