This isn't "old" I'd guess it was from maybe 10 years ago but it is one of my personal most favorites. I think Jerry called the handle material fossilized stone? (edit: Will is right - it is fossilized mammoth tooth) It was the first time that I know of that he used it and it is BEAUTIFUL! I may have to get out a better camera than just a phone for it.

Beautiful! Reminds me of fossilized mammoth tooth--that black G10 really sets it off. Enjoying your remarkably gorgeous vintage stuff you old HOG! Keep 'em coming!:cool:

ETA: Looks like they actually contoured the grip a little--unusual to see them carve into a natural material like that. I bet it's comfy!

It is and comfy here are some handles from other customs not dusted off yet. So I guess it just depends if they were in a curvy mood ;)

Cool—beautiful stuff! Thanks!

Yeah the G-Rexed handles usually have flat slab appliqués, as do the two on either side of the one with all-wood slabs in your pic. Carving into that mammoth tooth in your original post, to contour it like that, was a pretty brave move!:D

Beautiful my friend. Really enjoying these pics you are putting up. Keep them coming.

Do you want to sell anything or just showing them

To be honest I have not looked at all of them for years. So there will probably be some that I'll decide to part with. I'm 95% doing this because I had a lot of good times accumulating these and some are pretty special to me because of all the help I had from guys here like Cobalt and many many others. So since I'm stuck at home why not drop in for a while.

That's a beautiful AD!

Am I imagining things or was that from a Ganzaaa in 2010-2012? Feel like I've admired this exact one in the past, and curious where I may have seen it...or maybe I'm way off. Either way, beautiful!

Hey if you happen to pull out a Bad Apple from that amazing looking stash, I know a guy ;-)

You have no idea. Tony has some stuff that no one else has. Imagine a midget original mistress. I mean midget. Some people talk about rare, but Tony has some stuff that is hard to believe.

Mistress Miggie  That was that crazy deal where we sent something like $12,000 or $14,000 to some guy in South Africa that Cobalt knew for a big-ass box of Busse knives and some were unbelievable. I think one was a SHBM Saw Back made in the 80' and then I think one SHBM had an edge ground on the spine side near the handle for chopping. Which makes some sense since you'd keep the primary edge safe. Do you have any of them left? I do have Miggie :p:thumbsup:
