After looking around it seems to me that two really strong, tough, well built knives, or knife makers, in the folding range are the Zero Tolerance (0301) and the Emmerson (Cqc 11).
Both are similarly priced, shaped and sized, the Emmerson is 154 and thicker the ZT is thinner, s30v and heavier.

Trying to find out from people who have seen, owned or player with both, what are peoples thoughts?
Thnks.

Not personally familiar with that Emerson. The ZT 0300 series is massively thick and heavy. I have a ZT 0200 which is slim compared to the 0300s and it is almost too big for regular carry itself.

Both the ZT and Emersons are great, solid, reliable knives though. I don't know how to place one before the other except as a matter of personal stylistic preference.

The ZT 301 seems like it can take more than the CQC11, but the difference is negligible to the average user. You should get whichever one appeals to you more, both will keep up with whatever you throw at it, considering that you're not abusing the knife. Abuse can destroy either one of them.

Handle both and choose the most comfortable, that is the only difference that matters.

The ZT 03xx are like Striders, which I personally find no use for as a folding, sharpened prybar that doesn't cut very well. Try the 0200 beside the 03xx and see what you think.
