I just delivered a Jaguar with a Poplar Burl dash that looked a lot like that handle. Absolutely the best looking wood I've ever seen in a car. That knife is equally beautiful.

that has eye Ka-ching appeal. I really love the sweep of the top curve from the tip to the spine. The handle shape is sweet. Looks like a perfect handle for an edc. That handle wood really pops. Hopefully any more finishing you do does not involve darkening that nice wood too much, or obscuring that awesome pattern.

Hopefully, Jack will still let me purchase the knife after it’s finished. Once in a while a design catches your eye, and this would be one of those times. I've told Jack, but I'm a fan of the Spyderco mini-manix. Though the manix is flat ground, the design is the same. I find this is a great EDC (carry/cutting) tool that I always carry in my front left pocket of my desert flight suit. I usually give away the $100 knives that I purchase, but will definitely keep this for myself or maybe give to one of my boys, who have built up nice collections over the past couple years.

Well done Sir, and definitely worth more than the price you are asking. I do like when these labors of love become more than a dollar sign to the maker and eventually the owner of the tool. Maybe that’s why I like knives so much, but most likely it’s the people I get to know along the way.

Two thumbs up for the "ONeill All Purpose" in Thuya Burl...which means sacrifice.

Jack yet another BEAUTY!! Your CRAFTMANSHIP & SKILL :Dshow's in this one as well as it does with all of your work!! Truly first rate!! DeanoD you made a GREAT CHOICE in MATERIAL as well as with the MAKER, definitly   for the " ONeil All Purpose" !! I know you & your boys will get MANY YEARS of USE & ENJOYMENT from this BEAUTY!!

I didn't choose the wood exactly. I told Jack I wanted a stabilized burl wood, and that ironwood was one of my favorites. Jack said he had something in mind that he thought I would like, and he went with it. I didn't find out what it was until your knife was posted in the gallery. Normally I wouldn't do this with a knifemaker that I haven't previously done business with, but his latest creations led me to believe he has great taste in wood. We all know the results.

to everyone , A VERY BIG THANK YOU , for all the good comments . I try hard and do take pride in my work , so all the good replys are encouraging . Robert Crowder taught me well .
