When I got this back from the pimpage, my breath was literally sucked away. Now I've had the luck to own 3 different pimped large regular sebenzas (including a Mayonized sebbie), but this one really takes the crown, just like my one of a kind anso-ized sebenza (wonder who has her now?).

But as some of you know, I have been in a bit of a rough spot for some time now so I must regretfully sell this one. The price reflects the amount of work put into the knife, from 3 different highly skilled craftsmen. This is unlike any sebenza you've ever held.

This large regular sebenza has the much prized BG42 blade. Tom Krein just resharpened the blade to his famous scary sharp edge.

Prior to that:

Gerry McGinnis did a orange peel finish on the titanium scales (and screws) for me, and added his trademark fantastic anodizing work. The colours are very rich yet classy...a light bronze gradually turning to purplish blue tones. The holes are countersunk and polished, a nice classy contrast to the matt orange peel finish.

Mike Obenauf thinned the blade down a little, then redid the stonewash finish. The thumbstud is beadblasted, a nice touch.

Matt Cucchiara did his famous meltdown on the handles, and drilled the holes in a very very tasteful and nice pattern, the only one ever done this way.

The lock-up is perfect, blade is centered (like all sebenzas) and the blade opens smoother than any other folder I've had - it's like its walking on glass. (and I've had mayonized sebenzas and Mayo customs).

This is a one of a kind sebenza, a study in fine machining, textural landscapes and colouring, and I hope it will go to someone who appreciates it as much as I do.

xxxsoldxxx shipped + 4% paypal fees.

I'll let the pics do the talking.
