Splitting kindling other day and I met a bit more resistance than usual. Thinking it was a knot in the wood I banged the base of the 2X4 against the brickwork. When I removed the blade I found that a hidden nail had left an ugly notch in the blade. I'd have to remove a lot of steel to remove it. Anybody else had this happen to them?
