I love 'em - great way to contact me...and quickly too!!



But you should probably keep in mind that my box of 200 private messages gets filled up every other week or so and I have to keep emptying it out. *shrug*


It's too much work to try to go back through and figure out which ones to save and which not to save.

So, I just delete 'em all.

Especially after working out details in PM and then spend hours looking for the details in my emails :(...because honestly...I get a hundred or so customer emails a day too...:foot:


So, if you send me PMs and we chat back-n-forth about an order or trade, etc....when we're done...be sure to wrap up the details and shoot 'em to me in an email too.

I honestly don't mind the double-redundency of it.


I do tend to forget things....:D....and spend a lot of time rechecking records, etc.


So, toss a brutha a bone now-n-then. :D

Sadly.....a secretary wouldn't last one day out here with the MOUNTAINS of paperwork and filing....

Yup that's me.

No worries on not sending it yet. I just went on vacation so I wanted to make sure it wasn't stolen, lost etc.

It was a Wilma Davis Nessie with loop and Firesteel

But when I send you a PM the system also sends you an email with the contents of the PM. Whatcha doing with THAT email??

As I understand the system only notifies the person that he has a PM, I just changed my settings to include that option, but did not see one that sends the contents of PM to email address, if that option is available, please tell us where to find it. I can't find it. Thanks for your help.

Hmm, it's not a setting as far as I know. I always get an email from BF telling me I got a PM and then it has the contents of that PM. Here's one that I just got. I edited out the name, but you'll see what I mean.

Got the contents as well as the notice of PM, thanks, another feature I did not know about. But you do have to opt in (check in a box) for the email notifications of PM's. perhaps Dan has not opted in.
