Note to Buck: Please add the 117 on to the customs page

Could Buck be saving a expanded Custom shop for other models in the years to come? I hope Buck understands we ARE willing to pay to get the knife we want..But still no drop point 112 option and I feel it would be incredibly easy to offer us the option.

I look at the BCCI newsletters and see the lists of all the SFOS that used to be run. And now there are just 12 BOTMs and a handful of special factory runs. I have a hard time believing that those knives (and the customs) don't have a higher profit margin than the regular production knives. You'd think they'd make every popular knife with custom options. The drop point 112 seems like a no-brainer. Just wheel some 112 drop point blades over to the custom shop. I hope it is not some dumb thing like their website developer can't handle it or the accounting can't cross-charge. I feel they are missing out on some money. Maybe it is a labor issue.

I hear you, we are working on getting a drop point added to the Custom Shop. We have been working hard on that and some new additions to the Custom Shop.

While we're wishing, I would love to get a stag canoe and trapper. ;)
I would like the whole slipjoint series in different handles. They did it in Burlwood and I even bought the entire set (despite being imported). I don't think Buck has a stable Stag supply right now, but Elk would be OK. I collect Case XX knives too, so wouldn't mind seeing jigged red bone, buffalo horn, stag, or elk handles.

I've just started my collection, but have similar preferences. I would like stag, but am okay with some other upgrade options like you mention. It is just something to make it a little special.

Buck I think understands both the collector market and of course the retail market. But I hope they give credit for us the real fans of Buck knives and how much we promote the brand. The collectors were rewarded with reasonable priced web specials special sales buildout's BCCI club knifes but in the last few years that has been cut back..Just because you can sell a Buck for $200.00 dosen't mean you should. Especially for the collector. Kinda like Bud Lite there is a lot of choices besides that so it is the same with knives. If Buck treats the collectors of it's knives good it will add to the reputation of the brand . But if Buck does not..

Since we are posting our wish lists. Mine is for more smooth bone handled knives like the ones made for BASSPRO years ago. In fact that is probably the only way Buck will ever see any of my money again. .Nothing against Buck actually the opposite. I love their knives and already have several complete sets.
