Note too KAI from long term, hardcore kershaw, ZT customer

My first good hunting knives are pair of Kai's. It was, 1979-80 these knives cost a lot then, set of Kai classic hunter and matching folder in brass/black and 440 steel. My last high end EDC folders are 0550's. Black, satin and 0551, 2 new and 1 used 0550 series knives as my EDC. I even have Kershaw fire starters, so do my kids! I buy ZT cases! I am about the best customer KAI could dream of having!!!!!:barf::barf::barf::barf:

If I am wrong close the thread. Did KAI ask too shut down one of the words best knife websites of highest ethics? All due too money> or making too make too little limited knives? Or too maximize their profits?:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

They asked the forum be closed? Are you kidding, and this site closed it? This is independent knife site, I just joined and paid too belong here since I used this site for many years free. This site rocks!

I respect BF for being a team player but I disagree with you closing the forum, if I understand this? I could not post today in ZT thread, next, later this night, I went too research the problems with Elmax steel being mis-heat-treated.

Is Elmax steel the hardness they claim? Do I trust them anymore? Well......... No, if they closed their forum.

I would like Kai too know I gave away dozen or 2, knives this year 85-90% were kershaws!

I bought a dozen or 2 folders this year, and 85-90% where KAI, ZT's and Kershaws. The bottom line is I am best customer you can have. I promote the brand by giving away knives. My favorite thing too give, give and you shall receive - even if it costs me.

Finally, I have become very frustrated with the hording of new ZT's, the guy with 5 ZT0777, Devin Thomas damscus is not on my X-MAS list! The inability too preorder, sellers who let you order but never deliver (you know who I mean). I could live with the depreciation of the 0560CBCF of $100 with the over production, I buy another and use it! But, with recent success and big push too dump fixed for folders and fixed market crashing, well, I can say Microtech!

Please do not close this thread! I spent thoasands with KAI, I be Getting German kitchen knives this X-MAS! I want too hear from other long term hard core KAI knife junkies. So ask this stay open as it is very important too me, as paying member KAI can jump in a lake!:jerkit::jerkit:

I base my relationship with KAI on the products they produce and the customer service I hear they give(never needed it yet, hundreds of their knives). The KAI forum was nice to have met a lot of great people. Their closing the forum doesnt change the product or service so to me its a loss but not a game changer.
 
Did anyone know that alcohol has been rumored as the catalyst for poor spelling and irrationality?

I will continue buying ZT regular production as well as limited editions as long as the premium design, quality, craftsmanship and customer service are there.

I'm a huge fan of LionSteel-made knives: LionSteel, Knife Research, DPx Gear, Blackwater, Pohl Force, Dendra, Spyderco (just LionSpy) and Bastinelli Creations.

I have several MicroTech knives and all are great.

Broaden your horizons and lift your spirits. :)

Wow. Just wow. Maybe switch to decaf. The decision to close the sub was theirs to make. Threads like this certainly didn't help the matter. Definitely will not stop supporting them cause they closed a sub. As for the Elmax, I have no issues with mine and there is no need to beat a dead horse.
 
Mr. Dragonsprayer, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. From what I gather, the OP is upset at KAI for closing their subforum (which is ironic since it was these types of idiotic threads that drove them to do it), upset at BF for honoring Kai's request. It also seems that he is mad at KAI for the practices of independent dealers and sellers on the secondary market.

Oh and let's not forget him buying into the Elmax myths perpetrated by a very small but vocal minority.

Additionally, upset at the poor soul who has the audacity to acquire five of the original ZT 0777 limited editions in full Damascus regalia!
