I wanna know every single trick, tip, idea, and or secret you bastids have for making kydex sheaths that have the movable belt clip on em. You know, put on one way for regular carry, put it on another way for horizontal carry or take it off for neck carry. It will be muchly appreciated folks!!! Thanky!

Michael,

Are you going to the Blade Show?? I'd MUCH rather discuss it in person than TYPE it :( I'm no expert but I have a few tricks I've figured out!!

Ugh, not gonna make it this year either Neil! Sure woulda been nice to sit down and yack with you and the other bastids!

More holes! :p:)
Life got a hole bunch easier when I realised 2 screws is enough to hold a tek-lok rather than 4...

2 holes?? Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I checked out some pix after yopu mentioned that Dave. Why didn't any one tell me you're only supposed to use two holes on the belt clip? Lmao!!! Thanks Dave!!!!!!

Here's some pics that might help...

I have a whole series of pics showing the production of the regular folded over or fixed clip...It has more steps in it than making the sheath...If you would like I could post them somewere in a few days...

Here's what I do.

I created a template with 8 holes equally spaced in a grid. The idea is that on the angles, one inner hole and one outer hole is used. When carried horizontally, it uses the outer holes.

By doing this, the 8 holes in the clip and 2 holes in the sheath combine for a total of at least 32 different carry positions.

Hope that makes sense but I've made at least 100 sheaths this way and everyone seems to like them.

Personally I like making a single sheath for every carry method so I don't have to mess with switching them ;)
