Every year on boxing day, weather pending, my brother and I venture off to one of our favourite fishing holes. This time, the JABA came along with us. What a knife!

What a way to spend a day too; A few VB's, flyfishing for trout, barely a cloud in the sky, slight breaze, JABA on the hip and the water temp was perfect. Nearly forgot to mention my second best fly, the 'Montanna nymph'...life is good! Even though we did not get one fish...

Now if only there were one with a fish... ;)

Sounds like a good time. We get snow for Christmas, you go fishing... I think you got the better deal!

I was curious how the JABA would handle fish, any of the Busses actually, because I am used to using a knife with "give". How do they do? I love my Busse knives, and would love to take them fishing in the summer too... I probably will anyway, but want to know how they will perform, and what people have found or done to them (edges, etc) to get them to work.

Thanks guys.

Well, to be honest, a blunt toothpick could zip open a trouts underbelly, but I carry the JABA as it is a great all rounder! And clip pont too!

Did I mention it was clip point? ;)

I reckon that the SJ might be a really sweet knife for a fisher/camper type setup, may have to get me one next.

nice pics and awesome scenery:cool:

bet you wished you had a sh1 for the bigger critters out there:eek:

weel Stinky, apart from a rabid emu, there aint not much out there to be scared of...unless you count reptiles...then the list starts to suck a bit:(

But I will take your SH1 if it is available... :)

Looks a nice spot there Gundy. But no fish?? Your using the wrong lure. Haven’t you heard of the Roper River square hooks lure.:D :D
Ian.

I know thos square hooked lures my friend! ;) Urm, heard of them...

No, no fish this day...it was all a bit eary quiet actually. Probably the stint of bloody hot weather we are having...39 again today.

See Spearhead, I told you the countries were linked man!

Never said they weren't linked, Brother Gundy. Just that Oz is Alaska-South. Alaska is not Oz-North.:D

Les Les Les...

You know that the position North is read before South, therefore, it has to be Oz-North...:D

I think we should settle this over a few cases of Alaskan Ambers...

I will be on the next flight...
