I assume there is going to be a string of new models available...any hint of when we will see them online??

ps...hello to all my American friends in San Diego from the Great White North!!

New blades have been "about to come roaring back" since 6/22. Probably getting close now... two weeks?

(Truth be told I'm still recovering from part 1 )

By "online" I assume you mean the website. There has been a huge string of new models already launched this year but you kind of missed the boat. The website is still an ordering hub, but it plays a very small role in Busse sales; they now use this forum and direct e-blasts to market their products. New knives are announced here, but offered only briefly; then the buying window closes after just a few days, and no more orders are taken. So right now we're getting very limited runs of handmade knives; once they're gone, they're gone.

Best thing you can do is go to the website and sign up for the e-blasts. We are all waiting for knives we ordered months ago that are just now being made and shipped.

Of course, you can always buy something on the Busse section of the Exchange, also on this forum. Or maybe get on the list to possibly snag a cancelled order.

Well hello there buddy. Mike from San Diego here.

What the other gentlemen were referring to is something called "Operation Two Weeks". In a nutshell, when "O2W" is active Busse will announce new offerings every week or two. The offerings can vary from coated INFI (Combat Grade), coated SR101 (Battle Grade), to some very nice Satin INFI offerings. They are usually announced on a Monday or Tuesday and will go live on the Busse Combat website on the following Wednesday.

At least that is what I remember for the most part. At the moment they are busy fulfilling the last O2W offerings, among other obligations. There is a very nicely done list titled "O2W shipping info", or something similar that can give you a good idea of what was offered, when, and where they are on billing and delivery.

You said San Diego specifically, so I had to respond. Have a good evening up there in the great white north.

This is not at all a bad time to shop on the Exchange. A lot of recent offerings are available at near cost, which hasn't always been the case with Busses.
