Hey Mr. Kang, wanna buy a custom? $1326.63 shipped. :D

It might have cost you that much by the time you were done putting all the time, work and materials but no thanks. I think it looks a million times better the way it came from the factory. By as long as you love it, than that's the important thing. That is priceless! Enjoy.

Looks like fun! natural linen?

It was called Bone linen when I ordered it. Its a lot of fun! The temptation to cruise ahead using my dremel is tough! I have a friend with better tools that would making shaping a lot better, but... I would prefer to hand shape with a file/rasp, but this stuff is HARD!!! The rasp barely scratched the surface.

I don't think he's finished yet.

I think you should give it a go at trying to hand sand it. Get that technique down, then work some different colored scales the same way… Then you can swap them out when you're bored with one particular color. I think it's coming along great.

That's surprising that it's so difficult to work, I wouldn't think it would be.

Before I switched to a little drum sander bit for the dremel, I used one of those drill bit shaped Carbide Cutters. It nearly stalled the dremel trying to cut through it.

You are getting there Adam! Good work so far :) Unfinished handles never look good....but for unfinished handles those look good to me. Keep us updated.
