Nothing cuts like a Calypso Jr. Lwt.

I have been using my new Small Sebemza as an all-around utility knife mostly for things like cuting apples into slices at lunch (I know it's not nearly as sexy as some tactical application). Tonight I got out the Calypso Jr. to slice up an apple and it was amazing how easily it cut up the apple. Even though I have let the blade get much duller than the Sebenza, the blade geometry just glides through the apple. You would not want to do any prying with this blade, but used as a knife it is hard to beat its cutting ability. Great design Sal.

RickdelM - Is your Calypso Jr. lightweight have a plain or serrated blade? Just interested. I intend to buy one of these w/ plain edge very soon. Jeff/1911.

The VG-10 with the flat grind ROCKS!!!

Love my Calypso Jr. Ltwt.

The Calspso and Calypso Jr. Lwt. Are the sharpest knives I have ever felt out the box sharper than my Large Sebenza and they stay that way a long time with that very good vg-10 steel.

I wish they would bring back the Calypso!Or make the police model wth the flat grind of the Calpyso and vg-10 steel.

My Calypso Jr Ltwt (PE) is definitely the sharpest factory edge I've ever had from any maker. It is my every day carry for cutting tasks. I also carry a second knife for heavy duty cutting/prying, etc. The combination of VG-10 steel and flat grind is impressive, not to mention the handle shape & texture.

Jeff/1911, mine is a plain blade. Though I like my fully serrated Delica, in the Calypso Jr. the plain blade is pretty awesome. It just takes such an incredible edge.
