Notice anything different on the blade of my Canal Street Sleeveboard ring opener?

Yes, I know that I have hurt the collector's value however this is a knife that I EDC and use. It definately makes it easier to manipilate and I consider it an improvement for my use. Feel free to chime in with your opinions.

I like it. The old Sheffield ring-turns have a nail nick aswell.

I actually don't know but from looking at it I suspect it was done with a small cutter or a thin abrasive disk.
It was done as a curtousy by a very talented person who offered to give it a try at my risk but requested that I don't say who did it. I couldn't resist showing it off, however I will honor their request and not say anything else.
