I do not want to step out of bounds on Shop Talk so will tread as if I am walking on eggs with this post. This is no place for me to post prices but I believe here is where will reach most of us that have me heat treat.
Because of the extra fuss and muss and cost I am going to have to increase the cost a little bit of heat treating blades other than those that are air hardening; those that are simple carbon or usually refered by us as high carbon.
I will be emailing Darren with a request to reflect the change on his website. In the mean time anyone interested can email me for the amount of increase for HT'ing those steels. Stainless steels remain unchanged.
I don't like it and have hesitated for a good while but can no longer.
