Odd...it looks like my BK16 has a hamon (no, I didn't do that - at least not intentionally)
I am going to remove the rest of the coating (or, at least bring it back to the scales)
Looking at it, I think I'm going to tweak the blade a little more; then send it to Al for a sheath. (I have one of his BK16 sheaths; but between the micarta and blade mod, this wouldn't be a good fit.

No , I just sanded them so they fit the tang of the knife. The black scales are the stock plasticYou polish the micarta on these tweeners?
