Novatec Lights

Any of u guys tried the novatec lights?

How do they compare to surefire?

I own a SF EL1 'Outdoorsman' and I just got a Novatac 120P on trade. Both are equal in quality, fit and finish. IMO the Novatac is probably more versitile than the SF due to its many brightness levels.

I've never found that to be true. I'm happy with my E1B now like that its sooo much simpler than the 120p I played with. People love their Novatacs though!

I owned a 120P, and sold it soon after. Having the 4 brightness modes is great, but the switching wasn't always reliable for me, and the runtime isn't too great on the high modes. I'm holding out for the Ra-Clicky.

The NovaTac series is just over a year old, and have held up well. The runtime on high isn't the greatest though, I would also wait for the Ra Clickies to come out (soon)

you might check out the Nitecore EX10 Golden Dragon, at about 1/3 the price of the Novatac - I don't have an EX10 but I have an extreme defender infinity whatever, and I'm very pleased with it!
