For the same price I would rather have this one with a hook and real wood....unless you really love S30v

They were affordable when they first started the program, I guess it was going so well they decided to jump the price out of some peoples range, like mine.... After May's BOTM, the price exceeded the value??

$180 getcha a damascus/stag/nickel custom from the Graves! But this is the Buck subforum...

To each their own. I spent the price on the 110 over at SK (worth every penny), and it's so glorious I was considering a second. I'll pass on this, especially this time of year.

$175?

It'd sure be nice if Buck would turn out a Month knife once in a while that was affordable. As long as they sell out every month it's unlikely, but there's always hope.

Shhhhhh!! Don't tell anyone, they all don't really sell out. I know of a purple one that didn't....

IMO, the last one that was a real nice knife for an affordable price for what it was, the May 120 for 150$. Everything else has been overpriced for what it is... I would expect something like what SHB showed for 175$, less gut hook, not for what this 192 is...Too Bad...I was real excited about this BOTM series, I was planning on getting them all...

$3520.00 for all of the BOTM's....Not me....

I'm passing. But I look forward to each months surprise! One thing I'm happy about is even though they all sold out, I had a chance at each one before they were gone. It's a Great program imho.

This BOTM knife is very comparable to the Cabela's version, except for handle (Rosewood instead of Walnut) and blade coating (titanium aluminum nitride coating instead of the DLC coating). Oh and the Cabela's version is $55 cheaper and that is paying full retail at Cabela's.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head.

I assume this comes with a beautiful pine box, limited run, walnut, exclusive. It's hard to compare the BOTM to a standard Cabelas offering, it's a collectable. It's going to be more money plus will sell for more down the road.
Imagine owning a BOTM from 1968 complete with all the paperwork. NIB Pine box.

Although I'm not into the small folders, I did get that one, it's purdy cool for a small knife.....

I wish I had the Elk Antler 303. That one went really quick!

My only BOTM was August 2018. I'm still satisfied with the price for the 113 Ranger with O.D. Green Micarta and S30V DLC coated blade. It was unique enough and a solid knife.

This is similar.$369.00

I would be surprised if anyone actually used the BOTM 192 anyway. Just a collectable

Not cheap but not out sight high either.

How many of these Master series were produced?

I love chocolate. I really love it. I almost bought this knife because it looked like chocolate. I would have called it Chocolate Thunder. Boy, I wish Buck would put out a line of chocolate for Christmas in the shape of knives.
