Nope, but there is a family resemblance:D

Berk have you ever posted a pic of your complete collection or nearly so like John Powell and his wall's on this or another forum?
I know you have one helluva collection and I'd like to see more of what you have either here or on the antique khukuri forum, can do? :) Maybe think about it? ;) :D

Yvsa,
Right now I'm limited to what I can fit on a scanner bed. I got out my (crummy cheapo) digicam last week and tried to make it work, but the @#%^! software decided it couldn't recognize the camera:grumpy: Until I get a few medical bills paid off, I'm not able to get a better camera, and then when I do have money, it always seems to go for a knife instead of a camera!:D

I unnerstan Berk.;) The only way I got a digi cam was because of a screw up by Office Depot and they gave it to me for half price.:D
Now the same camera is going for the same amount I gave for it when I paid half. :grumpy: ;)

Great calendar, thanks Berk, those big old Dui Chirras are some awesome khukris:thumbup:

November, November, ah yes, this coming weekend is the Austin Celtic Festival over at Fiesta Gardens. Good food, good beer, exceptional live Celtic music. I'll be there with mug in hand, and homemade sgian dubh in my sock (for cutting up my Scotch eggs don't you know). Haven't seen you in so long that if I bump into you there the first two rounds are definitely on me.;) :D

Many Thanks John!!!! We always appreciate your calendar's and your post's!!!!
Your knowledge is greatly appreciated and as always very welcome here.
I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say that I sure hope you post a lot more than you have been lately although I know you're a very busy man.
Some pix of your khukuris and some background information greatly adds to our learning more and more about our favorite ol' bent knives.
Please don't be a stranger.;) :D

PS Methinks you would really like the 17 inch 24 ounce Foxy Folly!!!!
This khukuri embodies many of the aspects of the antique models not only in its shape but in its weight and feel. Truly a lovely, lovely, khukuri! :D
