BK7. Very impressed. The givory grips are much nicer than expected. Nice contour to the handle. I am a big ESEE fan at 5 and below but I am not as happy with the configuration of their 6. The BK7 is much more what I am looking for. Hair popping sharp right out of the box. Very light and handles like a smaller knife which is a good thing.

I really like the blade profile...very Seax-like to my mind.

The sheath is nothing fancy but it seems functional. I'll probably make a leather one for it.

Very pleased with Becker. Magnum camp up next!!!

Welcome aboard! You'll be happy you're here man, lots of good people and great advice.

Welcome. You will love the 7. I love mine more, now that i put a choil & some jimping, firestarter flatspot & stippled the grips.

Welcome!

I've only handled the BK-7 for a few minutes, but I liked it a lot. I have a bk-5 that I love the crap out of. It's so nice that you can take it to an all-day cutting contest and then cook dinner with it without even having to touch the edge up (true story). So, I guess you could say that I'm on the other side of the coin.

New to the forum myself as of yesterday. Bk7 is very nice, its on my wish list. I've gotten to play around with my friend's and its a very fun and good looking knife. LOTS of great mods you could do if you're feeling froggy.

Pics or it didn't happen!! Oh, and Welcome to the Becker Apocolypse

TimmyB- welcome to bladeforums. and stick around, earn your beckerhead number, and someone might just help you with that 7.

The 7 is a very nice blade. Funny, you see so many posts with someone still having their honeymoon with the 1st one and declaring their next purchase. Welcome to the madness!!!!

Welcome! I just joined the group and bought my first Becker a couple of weeks ago. After spending all weekend with lots of Beckerheads, I can't wait to become one. They are a great group and have lots of knowledge that they are happy to pass it along. I am thinking it is an addiction, I now have the 2, 5, 14 and am trying to decide what to get next till the tweener that I got to see for only a few minutes.....
