Hi guys!
Today I found in my mail my Case Sway Back Gent.
The pin was added, I don´t know why. Is that typical? I like it, it´ll make a nice (and useless) addition to my little collection
A photo for future in my pocket, with the almighty, old and trusty Zippo lighter
And one more
Nice kitchen photo with two bottles of my favorite bavarian beer "Kößlarner Weißbier", which is from a local brewery here about 35 kilometres afar.
The knife is finished very well. There´s no space between the bonehandles and the bolsters. It´s a real nailbreaker. I hope the backspring will get a little bit smoother during the using time. But this was nearly with all the Case knives, I owned, til now. It´s not razor sharp, but until the backspring doesn´t work as want it to work, that´s ok. And I really the half stop.
The walk is a little bit too hard, but the talk is really fine.
It´s my first Wharncliffe-bladed-knife at all. But I like that shape of the blade. It seems to be a mixture of pen-and-sheepfoot.
I like that one. When I wear fine clothes, it will make fine.
The bone handles are pocket-worn Old Red Bone and the steel is stainless. But Case makes a good harding at its 420HC, so I like the steel at all.
I hope you enjoy the Thread.
Kind regards
Andi
