Here is the blade I got from onewhobuys(thanks Chuck).
Anyway, this one is very interesting because it is definitelly a 1 of 300 LE :eek: Wierd. It has smooth handles like my old 1 of 6 but with the smooth bolts instead of slotted bolts. It is obviously satin and LE.

So the original LE's were definitelly produced over a large period of time. This one was a very early model, during the first 300 and probably during the first 50. The next one below that is hollow tubes so it must be near the end of the SHBM factory run. Skunks LE would have been in the middle somewere.

I'm glad that knife made its way to your hands (not that it wasn't well looked after before) you deserve to have it:thumbup:

That is THE blade made me interested in Busse. I yet got a luck to own one in my hand! Good Buy :thumbup:
 
Cool, it looks like the #37 is hand stamped instead of etch like the rest of the markings, true?

I couldn't have said it better. A more well deserving hog would be very hard to find :thumbup: Dennis has helped me with tons of info and has been very friendly in all our numerous emails. He does the name HOG well. That LE belongs with all the SHBM's he has! If only he'd get them all together and take a picture so I can add another SHBM pic to my hard drive :p I don't know if I'm fully prepared.........

Using Cobalt's stealth hog skills I'm making a trade for a sixth SHBM :D I wouldn't have known where to begin with bargaining without the knowledge I gained from him!

I've stolen every SHBM pic you've every posted and the souls of the blades along with them using ancient Chamorro voodoo (that we stole from the Filipino's). If you don't send them all to me (excepting your favorite 3....because I am a nice guy after all) they'll all crumble to dust with the next full cycle of the moon!

Didn't you know INFI is immune to all forms of Voodoo. It is christened in Scotch and Blood
