Finally got ahold of Amber at Buck and ordered thier limited run of Damascus 110. Ordered sambar stag, NS, FG, serrated (toss up on this one, don't see many), no rivets:D . At least I have 6-8 weeks to come up with the money its gonna cost:eek: . And I hope my wifes out of town when the delievry guy comes ;) . Just in time for Xmas, but I don't think she would appreciate it. Luckly I can hide it my collection and she won't notice, unless she checks the bank statement! Thanks for all your input. I would not have known they had a limited supply unless I read it here! She still has a few left. Originally I think they had 50 or so peices. I kinda of feel guilty asking for an Xmas present now.

Dont feel guilty about asking for xmas presents now... I do it year round :D

My preference is no!
I like them clean and smooth!
Both of the customs I ordered had no rivets!
BUT what you could do is just order another with rivets :D
Then there wouldn't be any problems!!!!!

...NOT with those stag scales panmann...The knife is gonna look great just the way you ordered it...Take my word for it...and wh4f's word too...LOL...:thumbup:
 
Rivits / no rivits, it's just a personal preference. They DO look fantastic BOTH ways with the Sambar Stag.

I got rivets on the Sambar Damascus 110 I ordered. Wanted that ol' skool look but am wondering now about it. I also wonder if I should've gone FG.

Thinking we'll get our knives at about the same time and we can post pics to compare.
 
Not that I wanna know how much you spent personally, but how much could one expect to dish out for something similar from them?
