Now I Know Why Scotch Brite Is So Awesome

Just did my small damascus but too lazy to post pics now. It's awesome huh?!

It's scary at first. To think you might mess up, ruin a knife that cost more then a car payment.

But personally, I like the look AND feel of it. A bonus is the bonding/personalizing time with it.

Thanks! I know a lot of people don't like the Idaho Made stamp, but I do, and I like the way it stands out.

Great work, I have a used sebenza I just purchased (my first and should get it sometime later this week). Not a fan of the Idaho stamp, would much rather is say USA.
I'm going to try the scotch brite as well. Thanks for the pics.

That's exactly my experience. I like it much better now, and I spend more of my time just turning the handle over in my hands instead of opening and closing the knife. I can't say I've done that with any other.

Which scotch brite am I supposed to get? Anyone care to share a link on the exact type? I wouldn't risk it without knowing fully exactly what others have used. Thanks!

I just use the old fashioned ones that have Scotch BRITE written in white across the backs and come in a pack of threes.

Disassemble your Seb, rub the fronts(don't do the backs!)of the scales, up and down, side to side, circular, doesn't matter. Keep going until there are no streaks left. Wash the green dust off, dry, put it back together and your done:thumbup:
