So this is where all you Swamprat forumites hang when you're not at the swamp! Hiding from me were yah? ;)

Well I wanna join the INFI club and I'm not counting my INFIcoot. So, what's the Busse equivalent of the CT?

Matt

Oh I see, it's like that is it! Well.....alright then.

The Busse site's not up at the mo, what can I expect to pay for a new Steal Heart? Yup, I'm getting on to the hard stuff now, SR101 IS a gateway drug! :(

Matt

Hey Matt,
A few Swampies hang out here. ;)

I think the new Steel Heart will be in the $350.00 range, plus sheath. I've seen the old ones in the For Sale Forum at about $300.00 usually, if they're near-new condition.

Ouch! That's really gonna hurt my pocket, I'm only a poor salesman...poor being the operative word. Buuuut, I'd like to get atleast 1 Busse blade. Yeah, maybe for Christmas (give or take 3-6 weeks right?) :D

Hi Matt,
All you have to do is get your hands on a Rolex watch, and then trade it for a SH-E. I did, and who gives a sh.. what time it is when you chupping down trees...?!
You need a SH, belive you me! Also, we need more INFI in Europe. .... That´s just the way it is!!
ALIass
I wish I could be, the pig I was before I was me!!

Matt

Perhaps you should check out an NO. About $50-$75 cheaper than the SH. The CT is just a bit larger than the NO and a bit smaller than the SH. Whoops, I was measuring against the Straight handled SH. It is almost the same size as the ergo SH. Whatever you get will put you on that very slippery slope. SR101 IS a gateway drug to infi, and once you have infi kiss ALL your money goodbye. Doesn't matter what you get, from BM to AS, you WILL be hooked. What a sweet addiction! Have fun!!;) ;) ;)

Matt,
Shamless plug but there is a bloke on the for sale forums selling a used SH-E for around 265.00 ... :)

What! You're telling me this isn't why the swamp was setup in the beginning? To lure knife lovers everywhere onto the INFI path, via a less pricey route. ;) :D

I hate to be a pain, but Ive had lots of practice and it's almost instinct to me now, can anyone give me the blade lengths of the current SH and NO. To be honest the NO sounds more like what I'm looking for, I don't want to replace my BR and if I get anything to long that's exactly what will happen, and the CT's just a little longer than I really wanted anyhow. 6.5" to 7" is what I'm after and if it's INFI then so much the better.

Oh, pics would be great too. I'd go looking for them but my computer doesn't like forums anymore and it refuses to work faster than snail's pace when there's more than a few pics in a thread.

And don't worry Eric, I'm not leaving the swamp (I can hear him swearing from here) :D

We can neither confirm nor deny that sort of information. We suggest you forward your inquiry through the proper channels and await further instruction.

:D

Well, I guess if I'm in(fi) I'll have to go for an NO, I think it's as close to what I want as I am to know what I want....if you see what I mean(??)

Just have to scrape the money together now, and find someone to do some nice leather for it too. :D
