I was wondering why the Para 2 was so hard to find. Always liked the way it looked and everyone sung it's praises, but now that i have one in my hand I understand! This is a really awesome knife, love the compression lock; that coming from someone who only liked liner and frame locks. The feel, weight and smoothness of the blade is amazing. this is definetly a keeper and serious contender for knocking the other in rotation out for some time. I know I'm probably preaching to the choir but I can't help it!

Welcome to the club. The Para2 make a lot of converts once it's in hand! :) Enjoy your new knife.

The PM2 is a very nice knife. I think the compression lock is probably my second favorite lock, after the axis lock. Both lock up solid and are convenient to use.

Watch out, buying one para seems to lead some folks on the forum to end up buying a pile of them. The next thing you know, you'll be pining for some other version . . .

The Paramilitary2 is really only good at one thing - kicking other knives out of the EDC rotation.

I'm still waiting to get one. Hopefully places will restock or Spyderco will increase production on the things, don't like the sprint one as much either.
