........#5 with a clip mounted for tip down carry to be exact. Will be here on Wednesday, and boy am I excited!:D  :D This will be the next best thing to a custom Sebenza I will have a chance to own.

As most of you know, Scott Cook is the former foreman at CRK and the Sebenza influence is pretty evident in the Lochsa.

I've nothing but good things about this folder and if the pictures are any evidence, which they are, I am in for a real treat! I want to thank Phil at www.2thehilt.com for this piece!:D  :D

Way to go Art! I am waiting for one also, but I still have about 8-9 months to go. :( I ordered one without a clip and I am going to have Dave make the sheath for it.

#13 has a home waiting for it in a month or two

I really don't expect the Lochsa to be a direct competitor to my Sebbies though. Different look, different feel, a whole lot more cash and far more rare.

I prefer to look at it as a different way of preparing a really great cut of meat. Either way, your going to love the results.

Don't have one of his folders, but his Owyhee fixed blades are out of this world. Mine in Micarta's coming home today with a River City Concealex sheath and mini Tek-Loc clip. Can't wait!

Professor.

I posted this question over on the general forum and thought I would ask it here. How does Scott Cook number his knives? Jamie did you specify #13? I ask because I assume this knife, #5, has just been completed within the last week or so. I also noticed that another forumite, Stumpy, already has #24. So what gives, am I missing something?

Not that it matters as this is a knife from the former foreman at CRK who cut his teeth on the number one production/semi-custom/custom folder in the world.........the SEBENZA!!!:D  :D

ART I MAY BE MISTAKEN.BUT FROM MY UNDERSTANDING SCOTT'S FIRST PRODUCTION OF 25 PIECES WILL BE NUMBERED.PEACE OUT :)

Yep, Jamie, aka Blademan13 emailed me and reminded me of that and after a bit of thought it made perfect sense. So #5 is going to be here sometime today! I will post my first impressions on it as soon as possible, and I suspect they will be VERY favorable as the Lochsa has a Sebenza background!

Well the big brown truck has paid a visit!:D Lochsa #5 has arrived. All I can say is WOW. I have written a lengthy first impression over on the general forum that spells out the details.

Again, WOW!!!
