Several years ago on this forum I saw a couple of Sebenzas customozed with lengthwise flutes cut into them, boy did they look great, this was even before I had my first Sebenza. Since then I have enjoyed my Small Regular, but still had those flutes on my mind. It took me a long while to work out how to do it, especially the "finish".(no way I was going to mess this up)

Oh, the grip is also improved, and with the gentle "rounding" of the trench it won't be too dificult to wash out gunk. Yes, I do gunk my Seb up, it HAD lots of battle scars on the handle scales.

Nice work gull wing! Simple but elegent and functional. Care to explain how you did it?

Great show Gull Wing! I've always liked those flutes. My Mission MPF has them. We might see more Sebs with them now! Thanks!!

Thank you for the kind words.
pkdmslf,
Quite easy work - *1/8" carbide cutter (ball). Aluminum Oxode. Small milling machine. Sand blaster. Mark up your lines, cut, and blast finish. BE DARN SURE YOU COVER(tape) THE BALL AND CONTACT AREA ON THE LOCK LUG.
* - Large Seb could use a larger dia bit.

that does look good !!!
did you mill the grooves your self ? nice job if you did
