Finally got enough dough to buy a ZT 0560 about a week ago. Unfortunately for my bank I was so impressed I had no option but to buy the 0550 as well. I'm absolutely astounded by the quality of these knives for such a reasonable price. The only problem about buying a ZT is that now I have to buy all of them...Better start saving. :D

Here's a picture of my two new additions. If anyone has any suggestions for people who make custom scales please leave a comment below. Thanks!

Which do you like better? 0550 vs 0560

The 0560 seems to be much nicer quality wise, but I can see how people would prefer to carry the 0550. That said, I like the 0550 better in terms of EDC, and the 0560 in terms of collectibility. I'm still really excited about both of these so I'm kind of scared to use them!

The 560 and the 551 (same as the 550 but in Elmax) are my top two fav EDC ZT knives. Slim in pocket, carries lighter than they actually are, very beefy and hard use without looking the part.

Nice Paring!

I have to say, I've done a total 180 for the second time on the 560. When I first saw it, I was super impressed. Then I held one for the first time and was sort of underwhelmed. I actually make the trek down to the house of blades just this afternoon to look at the 560 and 300 again, and I had exactly the opposite reaction this time. It was smoother than I remembered, the flipper was a pleasant change (and something that I had really come to miss), and it felt great. I really wish there had been a cfcb560 that I could have help side by side with it, but regardless I'm sold. Now for my membership to hopefully update someday (I'm not a patient man and it's been a week now), and acquiring one of those will be my first step after a sale or two.

not sure what you mean but if you paid for your membership here you need to go to user settings and change it yourself

I paid via paypal. I had no idea is going to be a huge ordeal or I would have done something else, but yeah I don't have the option to upgrade yet.

Go to the tech support forum and post your transaction ID. The mods will hook you up.

Hopefully one of them can get on it or at least tell me if something is wrong. I did that a couple of days ago and got a response from Esav, but nothing that has yielded any actual results yet though. Thanks for the advice though  I'm to the point of sacrificing a goat (or more likely a longhorn since they are more convenient in my pasture) to get something done.

I don't see permission groups.

Also, I didn't intend to hijack the thread! I really am looking forward to a 560- such a cool knife.
