It would qualify as a pistol. Like a T/C Encore, but with a bayonett.

That is really interesting. I wonder if the intent is to stab someone, then fire the gun point blank while the blade is in them That would be a neat conversation piece, but I think I will stick to carrying my Glock 23 and Spyderco Para seperatly I would rather have 14 rounds of hollow points in .40 than 1 round of .22LR.
BTW, does the tip of the knife function has the front sight?

It's machined quite nicely. Doesn't look like a homemade rough zip gun.

I'm not so sure that it would be classified as a simple handgun, though. I'll bet the BATFE has some funny (unconstitutional) regulation about firearms that look like that gun/knife combo.

I don't know. As long as the blade doesn't shoot out of it too it should be just another 22LR or 38 or whatver else they make. I would imagine with that small handle on it that a 38 Spcl. plus P round would about make that thing want to jump right out of your hand.

What do you know? Found another neat-o "Gunife" without even trying. Saw this thing on ebay tonight. Kinda wierd it's on there with their no guns policy. Seller never mentions that it is obviously a double barreled knife. Maybe it was rendered inert? forgot to click 'watch auction' so I could go back for more details. Price $1,060.00 and the reserve wasn't met. Yikes.

That's pretty cool STR. I'm pretty sure Bruce Bump makes those knife/gun combos. Check with him if you're interested in one. I prefer my knife/gun combo in my sig. A little more effective.
