These guys are just teasing. It is all right. You don't have a problem. ALL the kids are doing it. Just look around, all the folks here are fine, aren't they?

Really, just handle it for a while, maybe cut some cardboard, or small branches. It won't be a problem. Maybe you can find something to coat the blade, and then the handle, and then the sheath, and then...maybe you can look at carry alternatives. Possibly you might just surf around belt sanders, or look at alternative length and weight possibilities. You might just envision...you know, just for a moment, a heavier blade end, or thicker spine, or different material for handle. Possibly consider a minor modification to the blade shape, or you could search for Dan's khukuri dynamics listing and hold your blade up to the others, and then think of the differences and how they might affect your use.

It is all right. You don't have a problem. Just relax, it will be fine... :D

Thanks guys I can't wait to get my hands on it. I went and looked up the maker on HI's site. It's kind of cool seeing who actually created the piece.
 
got yourself a nice one--i have a 20" by bura and it's great--you're going to be like me soon--i'm just a newbie here and all i can think about is getting more kurks--heck i have nine now and i've just started :eek: :) :eek:
