Just received my limited edition Buck 124 in the mail today. Wow! From the packaging to the knife itself I am impressed to say the least. You can see the colour variations in the wood handle more in person. Pictured next to my 119 for comparison. The 119 is a great knife but the 124 is a whole other level. Anyone else out there tried out the 124 yet!

Nice! Is that a cross draw sheath in the photo? I have one for my 119 and like it so got one on order for the 124. Honestly, the 124 is probably more than I need in the woods, but when did “ more than I need “ ever apply to buying knives lol

Nice! Is that a cross draw sheath in the photo? I have one for my 119 and like it so got one on order for the 124. Honestly, the 124 is probably more than I need in the woods, but when did “ more than I need “ ever apply to buying knives lol

That sheath is from a 3rd party maker. Mine is not cross-draw, but I think he makes a cross-draw version too. PM me if you want the name, he sells on ebay and etsy.

Okay. Cool. Yes, Etsy is where I ordered mine from. Not sure if the same guy or not. In Missouri I believe. Good job on the 119 sheath so got one for the124 coming now.
Tried the cross draw yesterday when I was out in the woods and I like the ease of presentation of the knife I guess.
