Well, I just ordered 3 pais of 5.11's and will order some Propper BDU's for work. Whats a good Wilderness type belt to go with them? something tough and able to be loaded up with gear/knives and not feel like its falling off lol :)

Brigade Quartermaster's has this exceptionally rugged belt for $6.99. I've worn mine for several years, and it is starting to get a little worn, but still holds my pants up fine. The only problem with it is that it is a little wide for some belt-loops. Fits BDUs fine, though, and it is wide and stiff enough that it holds a Leatherman, knife sheath, cell-phone, etc., with no problem. Not as stiff as a double-layer duty belt or anything like that, so it's still comfortable. I highly recommend it.

Hmm...that link isn't working. Go to www.actiongear.com, click on "Adventure Ready Clothing..." then click on "Belts Buckles, Accessories," and it is near the bottom.

Available in Black, Tan or OD. 1 3/4 or 1 1/2. Regular or extra stiff for gun carry.

Does anyone know if that 1 3/4" wilderness belt fits the Royal Robbins 5.11's fine?

What Hollister said.

I have the Wilderness belt in 1.25" and 1.5". I love them. I used to wear a Blackhawk Rigger belt. The velcro lost a lot if it's stick in a few months of wear.

The Wilderness belt rocks. I have one with my raid gear and one for my jeans and 511s.

The Wilderness Belt is a great piece of gear.

A Bianchi B27 is a great choice in leather. 1 3/4 double thickness leather cut on a curve to fit your hips so it doesn't have that bunching up effect a straight belt does. It's a heck of a lot cheaper then the custom leather belt I got from one of the big name custom holster guys. Quality was on par and, Bianchi delivery is significantly faster ;)

Stay Sharp,

Yeah that Wilderness Tactical Trainers belt is a winner.., really tough!

you can do so much with it... Emergency safety belt, it's thick and stiff enough to hold a everything you would put on a duty belt, and comfortable enough to wear every day.

Also, with a carabiner nearby, you're always ready to do this

Just ordered an Original Instructor Belt. 34", 1.75", 5-stitch, OD-Green (for camping).

$34.95 + $7.95 UPS = $42.90.

I would really like to order the wilderness instructor belt guys, however they dont ship to canada so thats out.

My 34", 5-stitch, OD-green, 1 3/4" original arrived today. Bought it for camping.

Overall, impressed. I'm wondering if I should have ordred the 32" or 33" though -- not sure how to tell if it's the right size.

Also thinking I'll order a 1 1/2" for everyday wear with jeans.
