Just curious--Offset owners, did your 440C have any different properties than normal 440C?

Now that it's been out for awhile, how did MIM 440C perform?

Spyderco's "S" model is MIM'd 440C.
We've found it to be at least as good as 440C sheet. Our CATRA tests showed greater abrasion resistance than sheet.
It's only been out for a few months so not much "real world" feedback yet.

I totally forgot about the S. So in your opinion, MIM 440C should outperform conventional 440C?

My opinion will require some more "real world" testing and results in order to be formed.
The "S" is skeletonized so breaking tests are not apples and apples.
We do have some blades going into "Q-Fog" so we'll get some corrosion tests.
Performance has many facets.
