i guess this would be a convex edge, i used the old mousepad and sandpaper method, and it looks really good, and seens to be a nice sharp robust edge, did i do right? or did i screw up my becker necker...............

Looks good to me; how well does it cut is the question! I've found on my thin carbon bladed slip joints putting a clean, narrow bevel then stropping produces a nice convex edge that cuts great. Getting a BK-11 soon, but I'll probably just bevel/micro bevel it.

seems to be a very smooth edge, but it cuts pretty good. you can tell it drags across the fingernail but it drags smoothly.

It looks smooth, and smooth is good. I have a Necker too, it sharpens up real nice. Cuts better than its thickness might make you think.

Looks beautiful; if it cuts well, it is beautiful! Good job!

FPNunes,

Looks like he used up to 1500 grit Gator-grit wet/dry judging by the photo.

Nothing wrong with the bevels, and if its cutting well, then you got the edge.
