I got a brown for Christmas and liked it so much that I got another brown one and 2 orange ones. The brown one is my main EDC, and I'm hoping that someday I can complete the Skyline collection.

Im going to have to try and get a handle on one of these. They get rave reviews here but the looks of the knife just does nothing for me.

I love my coyote skyline. I usually keep it in my pocket, used for edc tasks, then my larger tactical folder is clipped to my other pocket for weapons retention. It's so light, I hardly notice the skyline. As of late, I've been keeping my ZDP 189 stretch in the pocket, but maybe this week I'll rotate back to the skyline. I do like the knife.

I was never big on the skyline til i got this one in hand. It's just the black but the deal was pretty good, $30 at the gun show, now i want a brown, orange, the BF one, what have i done!

Don't forget the Damascus one! :)

There's also the red and the red snap-on version. There's the Ducks Unlimited and the fixed bladed models as well.

I'm going to start edcing this one, i love this knife i havent been able to put it down

Not a dumb question. Yes, the BF skyline is S30V steel while the standard production models are Sandvik 14C28N

I really like the Sandvik steel, but it is also the only steel i have owned in a knife. I do want to get a knife with s30v because of the great things i read about it

I really thought the same as you. It looked kind of boring. I was ordering Festivus presents, and decided to get a brown blem due to getting a blue one and wanting to see if I even liked it and would keep it, not to mention it was really cheap (Thanks Dave!). I was like meh... it's ok at first. Then I got it broken i and carried it almost half of december and was like " I can see what people are talking about here". I decided to open it up polish and then flame the liner, and I was like "oh yeah boyyyyyy, This sucker is awesome"! Ithink it is the simple design that makes it what it is. it fits great in the hand and the finger groove makes it feel like a woman's touch on a cold lonely night... well not really but I had to say it! It is like a mut, its a good ol' friendly dog (maybe because it's brown?) that aims to please. It just grows on you even if you don't like it at first, I know I didn't

I picked up an orange Skyline for $29.99 plus tax over the weekend. This is the first Skyline I have had for a while, and I think that this knife is a great bare bones flipper, and probably the best bang for buck in an American made knife, period.

I bought a brown skyline from Kershawguy and love it. I enjoy even more than some of my much higher priced knives. Once you have one, you will want more, at least in my experience. I now have a damascus skyline on the way and will probably pick up an orange one and a black one very soon as well. I would also love to get the BF skyline too. I shouldn't have passed up the chance when I had it.

I bought one of the standard black Skyline blems from Kershawguy myself. I can't for the life of me tell what caused it to be marked as a blem, other than that it takes a bit of effort to get it to flip open, but that may mean it just needs breaking in.

The blade on it came shaving sharp from the factory, and is slightly sharper than my new Spyderco Delica's factory blade. Very lightweight, nice and thin, G-10 scales, all for under $30. Hard to beat that.
