What makes this knife special other than being my first integral Nessmuk, you say?
Well, the steels!
D2 core with a fully stainless damascus on the sides (304 and 430)
430 gets more eaten by the acid as it has more carbon content and is not that acid-resistant as the 304.
Also note the nice effect on the first layer of 430... It's darker than the other ones, and I'm pretty sure that's because of carbon migration from the D2 on the heating process.
This one will get a micarta handle and mokume buttcap.
Without further ado, here are the pictures!
4 1/2" from tip to end of bolster, 3 1/2" edge.
