I was poking around on the HideAway website and I went to go take the measurement for my hand just to see what they had available in stock.. and lo and behold...my hand is too small?

Really? Going by their measurement system, a valid measurement is between 2" and 6". The measurement I have for my trigger and middle finger is 1.57".

Oh, this sure is depressing.

Reminds me of the burger king commerical.

You must be measuring by laying your fingers on the tape measure, instead of wrapping the measure around them.

You measured the circumference of both fingers and it's an inch and a half?

Edit: I see Esav beat me to it, I was busy looking for the website,.

Nope. Tape measure around my fingers. I'm taking the circumference of the two fingers together just as the website instructs.

My finger bones are thicker than that.
Careful you don't poke yourself in the eye with one of those needles! :p

Man, I was afraid to go there, but since Esav started it.

I'm gonna need to see pics or it's a hoax.

Lol. Okay. Let me go take a picture for you guys. :/

Edit: Just kidding. I might be going a little loopy. For some reason, I thought the inch side of cloth tape measure was centimeters.. and I was getting about 4.5 so I punched it in to a converter and that would've been 1.57".

Harhar.

Don't worry we'll turn around when you hold it :)

Well it's good you figured out what the problem is.

But too small would have actually been ok. You can add paracord to the grip to make it thicker. Probably would have been even better that way.

Be careful about the sheath if you get one of those. I had one on my PFD while river running. Took a break, laid PFD in sun. When I picked it up the kydex had got hot and delaminated and -ploop- the knife went into the river never to be seen again. Very frustrating and expensive lesson. Needless to say, cheapo knives and sunshades on the river now.;)--KV
