This is my Buck Strider customized by knifemaker Neil Blackwood ( Blademkr@aol.com). Neil is an outstanding knifemaker who makes some of the best looking working knives I have ever seen. The knife's mods include anodized ti bolsters, koa scales, the liners are jewled and the kinfe opens very smoothing and locks up solidly. All screws are polished and it came with a removeable ti clip that I took off so I could sheath the knife.

The sheath is a custom leather sheath by famed leathersmith Gary Graley (G2 Leatherworks). I wanted it to say BUCK as a tribute to this fine company. I think the sheath came out great. A Blackwood/Graley combo at its best.

I am very proud to own this knife and sheath. I would like to thank Neil and Gary for all the work they did. I will treasure this knife. And yes....I will use it.

Whew!! What a great upgrade to the Strider.
I have been thinking about having a knife fixed up too, just can't decide which to choose. Your project turned out very well indeed Greg, congradulations.

You're welcome Greg, that is one RUGGED folder, Neil did an excellent job of customizing that knife, I've not seen a regular one with the G10 scales but this is leaps nicer and has a solid feel about it, jury is still out about the forward edge sharpness but I guess that has been discussed before as a strength penetration point and not a cutting slicing edge...

Damn, that is one gorgeous looking knife!

Who would guess a Strider could look that good? Very nice knife.

Greg, Holy Cow! Er, I mean, are you sure that knife and sheath are ok? I think you better send them to me for a month or two to check them out for you. I know, don't thank me, just willing to help out a friend
