It's been 3 weeks since i placed my order for a bunch of busse knives. I know they might be here anytime, or they might be another 3 weeks or so. How do you guys keep from going to the door to see if they are there on the porch every day? (More like 10 times a day, and more than that on my day off) I just can't wait till they get here, need advice on how to pass the time...

I've heard that crochet is theraputic.

Me? I just converse with the voices in my head...

SpearHead, I thought that I was the only one who did that! :D
I just keep saying to myself, "Self, the knives will be here tomorrow."
Of course when tomorrow comes, it's actually Today, so then I have to wait until tomorrow again!! :D  :D

The voices in my head keep telling me "go look outside they must be here by now". The voices never lied to me before, but now they seem to mock me.

:(

Now you wait my friend. Now you wait. It is the most excruciating wait there is too.

Tyuio,I suggest not even going near the porch for at least 3 months. If they come sooner, you're ahead of the game.:D :p Meanwhile, to keep your mind occupied, just order some more knives.:D :D That way you'll have something to look forward to for years??? to come.:D :D :p

On the days that I am home when the mail runs this is what I do. I get one or more of the Busse knives that I have. I open the blinds, so I can see up to the mail box. I sit on the couch playing with my knives and looking out the window. Our Postman always brings packages to the door, so if I see the truck stop at the box then I know I didn't get anything today. That's pretty sad I know, but I have the INFI addiction bad! Fortunatly, I have a couple of "fixes" that should arrive in the next few days. Buy some from the shop, then buy some in the secondary market. That way, you can have a slow trickle of incoming INFI. Just my 2 cents. Just remember that I'm nuts, so you should probably disregard everything I said;) :D :D

And I thought I was pathetic. I have a bus stop right outside my front window and this is where the postie would naturally pull up to deliver the goods. I also live on a busy street. So it ends up that when I'm at home during the day, I'm looking over my shoulder everytime a diesel is idling close by. Ok. I am pathetic. Birds of a feather... Right guys.

Cheers,
BJB :D

Practice sharpening all your other Busses! Once they are hair popping sharp, take up (or just practice) juggling with them... if that's too easy, try it blindfolded. How hard can it be? People do it all the time in the Circus?! The results should keep you occupied until the new knives arrive... in fact, it may make you forget all about them for a while...:D

Wouldn't it be something if Jerry & Company started sending out knife shaped boxes with about a pound or so of weight (INFI grindings/millings perhaps) and a note that sayd, "Your order has been received and is being processed" about three weeks after an order is placed?

DON'T give Jerry any ideas! Waiting is hard enough with out "Phantom INFI" packages.

From one guy with OCD to another, take two Zoloft and check the mailbox in the morning.;)

( I'm not a doctor , but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.)

want a good and proven recipe?
1. Order a busse that might take some time
2. In the meantime, ask at busse (germany) "whats in stock?"
3. Get a mail of whats in stock
4. Order 2 or 3 busse's that are in stock
5. Enjoy fast delivery.

My last delivery took less than 24 hours, the postman was much much faster than expexted. :) :)
