NRA Buck Vantage

Sweet knife. Buck and the NRA are two great organizations. But why did the copy writer put quotation marks around the term heat treat?

The "copy writer" used, don't know "squat" about "knives" or how they are "made"?
"It" might be of the opinion that a "blade" is just a piece of any old steel and is just ground or stamped to shape and put in to a handle. "It" would not be the first and/or only and/or last non knife "person" ... or "person" that knows nothing about metal other than it is used to make cars and refrigerators to "think" that.

I have no "clue" what you "are" trying to "say"...

Before we get too particular......it likely these were for sale at the National NRA convention or SHOT show or in NRA sale catalog. You to could have a MT Pokt or afishhunter etch put on one if you order enough. Say a minimum of 1,000 units, maybe more. At one time it was low enough minimum number, that companies would get their name printed on the blade or scale and give as salesman gifts or employee gifts. There are a considerable number of 300's so marked. Anyone have a Purina 303, etc., etc. 300Bucks

I got my 2015 NRA Store Holiday catalog in yesterday's mail; this Buck knife isn't listed so you better order one if you want to be sure to get one. OH

I sure wish they would offer this knife when they call and solicit donations rather than the CCC they want to send you. A tad expensive IMHO for what you're getting but then again I presume the profit is going to support the NRA so the premium is kind of worth it in that regard.
