I no longer own this knife due to my own stupidity and the US Secret Service..:grumpy: However, now that i have learned about knives I feel that is a benchmade. Id like to buy another one but as i dont know what model it is im stumped. The over all look was like a griptillian with out the axis lock? it had the soft rubber handles, thumbstuds, no pocket clip ,and a liner lock. It wasnt ao. It had the blade type of a grip and it was a stainless... I got it at the 2008 annual NRA Dinner in Jeff city... if anyone else went did they get one? and do thay now what it is? Im going to this years one soon but they probaly wont have it... It was $20 but i got mine from my boss as they were all sold out...:( Im paging through benchmades online catalouge...lol i thought maybe you guys could help? thanks!

lol i went to the sarah palin rally in jeff city. i went right after work... i kinda forgot to take it out and leave it with my boss at work.... the ss officer wouldnt let me go back down town..... after the rally as i was leaving i saw him take it off the contraband table and leave....:jerkit: lol i almost went up to him and said you know there are these things called online knife stores....:p

 That's horrible! Dude I would have told that sleazeball to give me my friggin' knife back and caused a scene if he didn't. That's super lame, sorry to hear that.

lol its okay that event caused me to get a tenacious ...... now im jonesing for another but i just bought 5 more high quality knives..:o

You have a number of options.

Go to the NRA site and the NRA Store. They have a number of their knives in stock and for sale.

Go the Benchmade.com, they have a section there for BKC/NRA knives and ware to get them if not by them. Knifeworks & maybe KCI has a section (limited) of BKC/NRA knives.

Other distributors like Cabellas have some (I think).

A few other knife manufacturers produce knives for the NRA. Just to make things harder. Off the top of my head…………I draw a blank. NRA.com store will have it if it’s still in production.

Here’s the bad news. All NRA knives are Limited Edition to some extent. Some are for shows only in VERY limited quantity. Some are 250 LE’s or 500 LE’s or just plain production knives but are de facto LE’s because an NRA model is never produced in large quantity and available for years on end.

That should either get you started or take the wind out of your sails. ;)
Now go get that NRA knife!!!:)

Is it the black one with the NRA logo on the blade? If do, thse are the cheap Chinese giveaways that they hand out.
