I just picked up a Mel Pardue designed reverse tanto/semi-skinner bladed knife with the Rolling Lock. It has a 440C blade and cost me $45+tax. I just got it today and haven't put it through any paces yet, but this looks like a real good user. These NRA Outdoors (BM from Taiwan) knives are good bang for the buck. I'm glad most gun lovers won't spring for a knife over $50. :D
With gas so high, I'm grateful to find cool knives on a budget. Anyone else check this model out yet?

That wudbe the 12200, yup its on my shortlist from knifeworks . Looks like a very useful shaped blade. I am also very confident of the 440c as ht by BM. Have the Ambush with alu handle but dont really like it as i think its too heavy. Got it to find out about the rolling lock. Seems theres no built in wear conpensator so after a while there wud be blade play??

Wear may be a problem but i have had a few Rolling Lock knives and I never had a problem with blade play. IMO BM really took the Rolling Lock concept several levels above Round Eye when it comes to quality of manufacture.
