Was at the NRA CONVENTION talked to the guys at the benchmade booth. Cool stuff coming down the pike. Gold class TI mini grip coming . Told me a g-10 mini grip with rei and maybe a spear point 904 and 909. Very nice people gave me some extra omega springs and clip screws.

Very excited for a G10 Mini Grip, especially from REI (I still have a dividend there that I need to spend!).
If they would send me a few spare omega springs, I'd spend $500 on Benchmade knives tomorrow.
They won't, so I won't.
I just won't own a knife whose weakest link is so vulnerable to failure, and completely unavailable for spare parts.

I'll bet that's what a lot of us are hoping for. Drop point is so much more useful for an EDC knife.
The guy did say maybe, I sure hope it comes true. He told me benchmade is going to start releasing knives in January, june, and at blade show. He showed me a pic of the ti mini grip on his phone, very sexy knife. I dought I'll ever buy one but I will buy the rei mini. I'm coming back around to benchmade Joe. Good to see you here on blade forums.
